Sariska National Park is midst the most visited national parks of the country and is located in the Alwar city of Rajasthan. It is about 107 kilometres far from Jaipur and covers approximately an area of 800sq kilometres region and is over seen by the Government of Rajasthan.

FLORA AND FAUNA:
The forests inside the Sariska National Park are the dry and deciduous. The main plants found in this area are Jamun, Arjun, Bahera and Dhok. The ground spread is fundamentally Ber and Adusa. The dried and fallen leaves of Dhok help the herbivores to hold over the grain lack in summer months. The woods get to be rich green in the rainstorm months and totally dry in the late spring months.
Sariska National Park is one of a kind in creature distribution. The Park has a rich wildlife. Jaguar, Hyena, Jackal and Jungle cats are the carnivores of the forest. Four horned Chausingha can be found here easily .Chausingha is only Indian and is the main buck on earth with four horns. Talking about the bird species, you can have the sight of grey partridge, sand grouse, crested serpent eagle, woodpecker, horned owl, tree pie and many more which can come up to 225 bird species.
SARISKA NATIONAL PARK SAFARI:
Sariska is also known for its Jungle safari which is very much popular among wild life lovers and photographers. In Sariska National Park, Safaris takes place in two times, Morning and Evening. Two wonderful safaris are available in Sariska National Park named: Jeep Safari and Canter Safari.
Jeep Safari: A small group of at least 6 people can explore the National Park and its wildlife in their natural habitat. A jeep safari is specially suggested for wildlife photographers so that they can capture the perfect picture of royal tiger and other species of animals.
Canter Safari: Canters are the open vans available for safari. If you are travelling in a group more than 6 people then it is best to be together in a canter. It allows 20 people at a time and travels in all zones.
It is advisable to do prior booking of tickets earlier during the peak season.

The best time to visit Sariska National Park is Winter Season (October to February). The dry climate together with cool and pleasant type of climatic conditions makes wildlife tour refreshing, easy going and enjoying.
