Yoga is a spiritual process in which the body, mind and soul are brought together (yoga). This word –
process and perception – is related to meditation process in Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. … The
word yoga has been used many times in it, sometimes alone and sometimes in particular, such as
Buddhayoga, Sanyasayoga, Karmayoga.
Yoga is a Hindi language word that has become Yoga in English. Yoga means addition. To do yoga in
mathematics means to add numbers. But it becomes very widespread in philosophy and spirituality. In
the Gita, Lord Krishna said “Yoga: Karmasu Kaushalam”. It is not possible to do without work. The life
journey went on with such skill that in the end liberation from the movement of the world. Which
Krishna called Moksha and Buddha called Nirvana. Yoga is the means to reach that stage. Organs are
yama, niyam, asana, pranayama, pratyahara, dharna, meditation and samadhi. The irony is that due to
incomplete knowledge, the posture itself has been understood as Yoga. Whereas the desired extreme
state of yoga can be attained in the eighth limb samadhi. Yama niyana asana pranayama and pratyahar
are out of the way and perception, meditation and samadhi are intimate. Their constant practice makes
the body suitable for mental activities. The restlessness of the mind ceases and the mind reaches
meditation after meditation. Lord Krishna has preached the path of Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Jnana
Yoga to reach here. Lord Buddha has preached Sheel, Samadhi and Pragya.
